Sunday Pastry Pleasure. Not really a big brunch person. Rather, I find great pleasure piecing together bits of happiness. Ceci-Cela croissant. Flaky, light, airy, chewy. Really F’in good. And for only $2…damn worth it. Grab one, a coffee, walk over to Petrosino Square and soak in a little NYC.
Our bi-weekly meat CSA. Homemade guanciale, prosciutto, lardon, whipped lardon, pork bolognese, duck rillete, chorizo, fennel salami, and ndjua. A guy name John, whom we met at Brouwerij Lane, makes all this stuff out of his place in the east village. Amazing stuff.
Not sure if I want to tell you where I got these fantastically handmade, thin-skinned, gingery-oniony-porky stuffing, pockets of fried goodness.
And they’re cheap,12/$3!
I will say they are located in the LES/NYC. You’ll just have to let your curioscity lead the way. Happy travels!
